John J. Bublewicz was born and raised in Hamilton Township, Mercer County, New Jersey. He has resided in Mercer County all of his life and has dedicated his professional life to serving the local community. After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Trenton State College, he spent five years working in front line management for United States Steel Corporation at its Fairless Works steel mill. He returned to school to obtain a law degree, studying at Nova University, Seton Hall University and Rutgers University Law Schools, successfully passing both the New Jersey and Pennsylvania Bar examinations in 1987.

After gaining experience at several law firms, John J. Bublewicz opened a solo practice in early 1991 which has since evolved into The Law Offices of John J. Bublewicz, maintaining two offices serving the Hamilton, Trenton, Hightstown, Princeton Junction and West Windsor areas.
As an enthusiastic and dedicated civil litigator, John J. Bublewicz specializes in representing victims of personal injury, medical malpractice and work-related accidents. In addition, he also offers a wide range of services including residential real estate transactions, estate planning (Last Will and Testaments, Powers of Attorney, Health Care Declarations and Guardianships), municipal court matters, as well as selected miscellaneous matters requiring a lawyer who is comfortable in the court room litigating.
John J. Bublewicz has litigated cases throughout the entire State of New Jersey and has appeared before the New Jersey Supreme Court and the Superior Court Appellate Division, and routinely appears in the New Jersey Superior Court in both bench and jury trials. He also is licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
John J. Bublewicz is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Association of Trial Lawyers of New Jersey, the Mercer County Bar Association, and the New Jersey State Bar Association. He enjoys pleading his client’s case in the courtroom, as well as negotiating out of court resolutions at mediation and/or arbitration. His bottom line is to zealously advocate the client’s position until the client is satisfied with the result.
John J. Bublewicz resides in Hightstown, New Jersey with his wife and daughter. He enjoys swimming, golf, gardening, and relaxing with a fishing pole or good book while vacationing at the Jersey shore. He is involved with his local parish in Hightstown teaching faith formation classes.
Accomplishments
During his legal career, one of the more significant accomplishments that John J. Bublewicz has achieved was the creation of insurance coverage for small businesses in the sexual harassment area in the case of Schmidt v. Smith. In that case, a very large insurance company, refused to defend one of Mr. Bublewicz’s small business clients. After seven years of litigation culminating in argument before the New Jersey Supreme Court, a judgement of coverage was issued, awarding his client the coverage it deserved from a stubborn insurance company. This changed the existing law in New Jersey for many small businesses that needed the protection they paid for and deserved.
Unafraid of tough challenges, Mr. Bublewicz took on a large German tool manufacturer under New Jersey’s Product Liability Act representing an injured client in the case of Migliaccio v. Bosch. An iron worker injured his wrist while operating a hammer drill manufactured by defendant Bosch. The drill had an arm that had been removed by the general contractor. Bosch manufacturing company finally agreed to settle the case before jury selection, paying a substantial sum to avoid a trial. More importantly, the manufacturer changed the design of the drill so that a safety toggle switch prevents its use without the arm.
